Jack O Lantern Jog & Skeleton Stroll

Race is located at Canon McMillan High School.

The 20th Jack-O-Lantern Jog will be held on October 26, 2024, rain or shine (no refunds will be given).  The 5km run and one mile stroll will both start from the Canon McMillan High School. This race is a fundraiser to benefit the Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan. Enter our event and bring your friends and families. 

STROLLERS: As per our insurance, if you are participating with a stroller and/or carrier, the parent and/or legal guardian MUST sign a waiver for the child/children in that stroller and/or carrier. After waiver is signed and submitted, you must visibly place tag(s) given to you on the stroller and/or carrier. Please sign the waiver the day of the race. Failure to comply may result in disqualification of that parent and/or legal guardian that is a registered participant in the race. 

No Pets allowed. 

 All participants registered prior to October 14th, are guaranteed a special 20th Anniversary shirt. Please be sure to mark your shirt size when registering.  Participants registering on or after October 14th will not be guaranteed a shirt and/or shirt size. More information on the shirt will follow in the near future. 

Huge Raffle! Tons of raffle prizes will be offered in a Chinese Auction type raffle.  There will also be a 50/50 on the day of the race. Cash payments only. All registered participants will have a chance at our Grand Prize raffles too. 

 Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes! Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 costumed individuals and/or groups.

 Event details and schedule

The 5km run will begin at 9:00 am and the Skeleton Stroll will begin at 9:05.  

Medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in the following age categories. Male and female:

11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

Teams of 5 or more individuals are invited to compete in the 5K race. The 5 fastest finishing team members will be scored for team awards. First, second and third place overall team awards will be given. 

Arrive Early- we expect a large crowd!
