Join us at Central Park in Doylestown for NOVA’s 7th annual NO BULLying Run! This run features a 1-mile fun walk/run and a 5-mile race. There are kid-friendly activities that promote respect and self-esteem, face painting, a moon bounce, music, and more! Following the race, there is an awards ceremony and raffle drawings.
Statistics on bullying from the National Education Association report there are about 160,000 children that miss school every day out of fear of being bullied. 71% of students report incidents of bullying as a problem at their school, and 43% of youth report that they have experienced some form of cyber bullying in the last year.
In conjunction with the Bucks County community, our goal is to make the NO BULLying Run a premier annual event that raises awareness about the effects and consequences of bullying. We believe that in order to end bullying, an entire community must work together towards a solution!
Funds raised help NOVA continue to raise awareness and educate the community on the effects and consequences of bullying.
One of the few 5-mile courses in the area, the challenging but rewarding 5-mile course loops around Doylestown Central park, covering rolling hills before winding down to the beautiful Doylestown Bike and Hike path that follows the Little Neshaminy Creek. A long downhill to a flat finish turning back into Central Park will have you charging hard for the finish line!
Does 5 miles sound a little bit too far still? Conveniently for you, the 1-mile fun run is a great race for anyone! If you don't want to run, you can walk, roll or stroll through the course. Kids love racing their friends down this path as you get together some family friends and walk/jog behind them. This event will have family fun activities, raffles, music and more!
If you have a team of 5 or more people, you are eligible for the team discount. With a minimum of 5 people for the 5-mile race, the fee is $25 per person. With a minimum of 5 people for the 1-mile fun run/walk, the fee is $8 per person. You will receive a refund of $5 for the team rate once the 5th person joins the team.
