Join us on March 17th for the 2018 Emmaus Run Inn – 3.4 Mile Corn Beef and Cabbage Run at Camp Olympic, 3120 S. Cedar Crest Blvd Emmaus, Pa 18049. The 5K setting at Camp Olympics makes this event a true traditional Irish Run. The entire course is on grass and will challenge all levels. Join us after the run for Music, Great food by Wegmans (Corn Beef and Cabbage), Beer by Funk’s Brewing and Premise Treat. Each runner's registration adds more money to the Pot of Gold. 10% of the net profits from the Pot of Gold will go to the winners of the 3.4 mile run. Must be 21 years old to partake in beer sampling
For 2018 a new event has been added to the day “The 10K Leprechaun Challenge” Duathlon. Challenge yourself after the run to ride your mountain bike over the 5K course twice to combine with your running time. A runner can ride the course themselves or partner up with another person and have them ride the course. . Riders will be sent out on the course in 15 second increments based on their bib number. Positions for each contest will be added together for one score. Example: Tom ran the 5K and finished 21st overall. Tom then did the mountain bike ride and finished 12th His total score was 32. Top 3 places will be awarded in the Leprechaun Challenge. No age groups.
Both events are chipped timed
The events are open to all ability levels and is both an ideal venue for your first duathlon while at the same time provides a challenge for the more experienced participants.
