Description
THERE WILL BE NO TRANSFERS, NO DEFERRALS AND NO REFUNDS. Please keep this in mind as you register. There is an option to purchase insurance that is sold and charged from an outside company.
A half marathon event on the shores of Lake Erie - at Presque Isle State Park. Registration will include a technical race shirt, finisher's medal and post race refreshments.
There is a 3 hour time limit on the course, anyone not maintaining a 14 minute per mile pace will be directed to the all-purpose trail next to the course. This is due to park requirements. You may need to go to all-purpose trail sooner if requested by the park rangers.
There is no day of race registration at the venue, please sign up using runsignup.
Packet pick up will be at the beach 1 pavilion at Presque isle on Saturday from noon until 5 PM. You can also pick up on Sunday prior to the race starting at 5:30 AM. You may have someone else pick up your packets, shirts not picked up by the start of the race will be forfeited, they will not be mailed. There is no guarantee of a shirt if registering in the last 10 days. If your shirt size is not available we will ask you the size wanted and it will be set aside after the race starts
Post-Race Food : After the race we will party at the Beach,1 pavilion refreshments and a DJ will be at the beach 1 pavilion. You can bring your own outdoor chairs or beach blanket for your comfort. Food, drink, music and friendship will be supplied to all runners. As soon as race results are available we will hand out the awards, they will not be mailed. The awards will be overall first 3 winners, male and female and first overall masters winners and 5 year age groups.
