Description
The NIRCA Cross Country Open 6K is an annual race that precedes the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association National Championships. Hershey Parkview Cross Country Course near Hershey, PA will host this year's race. Parkview is sure to provide a memorable racing experience. Stay around afterwards and watch the premier race in collegiate club running.
The NIRCA Open 6K is open to the public and NIRCA alumni athletes. If you're a part of the local community, a fan of collegiate club running, NIRCA alumni or ineligible athlete, a parent, spectator, a high school athlete - then this race is for you!
Spikes may be worn at the runner's discretion. This race will take place in rain or shine.
Online registration closes at 4 days before the event.

The NIRCA Nats 14k / 12k Challenge
NIRCA collegiate athletes are invited to participate in the 12k / 14k NIRCA Nats Challenge!
The challenge is a double-header race for athletes* who are already registered for the Championship or Class races in the NIRCA Championships. By doing both races, you'll receive a registration discount in the Open 6k -- The cost for Open 6k entry as a challenge participant is only $15!
How to participate:
- Register for the collegiate class/championship race AND the Open 6k race on clubrunning.org.
Note: Challenge participants must register for both races on clubrunning.org. Clubs will receive an invoice for entry that must be paid within 30 days, similar to invoicing for Regionals & Nationals. Members of the general public and non-challenge participates must register through this site, at runsignup.com. - Race in the Open 6k race.
- Race in the NIRCA Championship or Class Race.
- The lowest combined time between both races will be used to award the Top 3 Men and Top 3 Women who rise to the challenge.
Award winners will be recognized with a special prize at the awards ceremony at the end of the day.
* This challenge opportunity is open only to NIRCA club runners who are eligible & registered for the Championship or Class races by the registration deadline.
Hotel Information
We have reserved special NIRCA blocks with a deadline of October 15th! These rooms will be available to NIRCA teams, spectators, and supporters to ensure you can book a place nearby the Nationals course. Hotel block cutoff dates begin 10/15/24. Book soon!
