The Tyrone Race Series presents The Book It for Huntingdon Library 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk! 

The Book It for Huntingdon Library 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk and Kids Sprint Event will be held along the scenic trail of Blair Park in Huntingdon on November 9th, 2024!

Not a runner and still want to contribute? Open donations will be available if you click on donate at the top of the page. If your unable to donate money, please also consider donating your time! If you want to learn how you can help out with the race as a volunteer please email runtrs1857@gmail.com.

Event will benefit our local Huntingdon County Library and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Blair Park.

The start and finish line will be at Blair Park in Huntingdon, PA.

Timeline of Events:

7:30 AM : Check-in and Day of Registration will take place at Blair Park

9:00 AM: 5K Run Starts

9: 15 AM: 2 Mile Walk Starts

10:00 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)

Day of Events - Tour of Huntingdon County Library, open 10 AM - 5 PM

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by October 25th to be guaranteed long sleeve shirt. 

Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM

Additional Long Sleeve Shirts - Can be ordered on RunSignUp Store and picked up race day on November 9th, 2024 at Blair Park  located at 105 Penn St, Huntingdon, PA 16652.

Kids Sprint Children 9 & Under:

Early Registration with long sleeve shirt: $15
Early Registration with no shirt: FREE
Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

*Registration includes a long sleeve shirt and race goodie bag: Youth S-L & Adult S - 4XL

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Huntingdon County Library, all proceeds will be given to Huntingdon County Library. 

Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Tyrone Race Series committee. Any updates will be  posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
