FALCON Running Festival

8:00 am- 5k and 10k start
8:45 am- 5K awards
9:00 am- 1 mile fun run
9:15 am- 10k awards

These races support the Cedar Crest High School and Middle School Cross Country/Track and Field Programs.  

Come join us for the FALCON Running Festival at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center/Lebanon Valley Rail Trail.  Choose from three distances - 10k, 5k, or 1 mile fun run.  This festival is being held in lieu of the Falcon Triathlon because construction on the Cedar Crest campus does not permit holding the triathlon this year.  Building on the success of the 2023 and 2024 Falcon Triathlons, this is a perfect race for beginners to ‘tri’ something new and for experienced runners to ‘tri’ for a personal best.

Course description:
All three races will take place on the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail. It is a flat cinder surface with lots of shade! 1 mile fun run and 5k will do an out and back while the 10k will do 2 loops of the 5k course.  Start and finish at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center near the soccer fields.  

Awards:                
10k and 5k:
Top 3 Overall (Males and Females), Top 3 in each age group (9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+)       

1 mile fun run:
Finisher medal                

Entry fees:                    
10k:  $40 by 5/1/2025, $50 5/2 until race day
5k: $30 by 5/1/2025, $40 5/2 until race day
1 mile fun run: $15 by 5/1/2025, $20 5/2 until race day

  **Packet pick up and race day sign up 7am-7:45am on 5/31 at the Pavilion near the soccer fields.  1 mile fun run packet pick up and race day sign up available until 8:30.

T-shirts will be provided to all racers who register by 5/1.  Anyone registering 5/2 or later will receive a T-shirt while supplies last.
Refreshments will be provided to all participants at the end of the race.  There will be a water station at the turn around for the 5k/10k.
Also during registration, please consider making a monetary donation in support of the Cedar Crest Cross Country/Track and Field Program.  As a 501-C3 organization, all donations are fully tax deductible and support the students on both teams for equipment, meets, camps, gear, and end of season awards banquets.
