Friends of the Billy Mock Foundation: In order to focus on the needs of our community, we are canceling this year’s annual 5K run/1 mile walk which was originally scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Ridley Creek State Park. While this is one of our major fundraising events, our current focus is on helping those in need. We have been actively reaching out to our contacts at social services organizations offering our help.
We would like to enlist your support with a few items:
--Pray for a quick end to this virus, the safety of our first responders and healthcare workers who are on the frontline, and the safe-keeping of your own families and friends.
--Ensure those in your families and neighborhoods have the support they need.
--Contact us if you know of anyone who needs assistance at www.billymockfoundation.org
--If you are able at this time, consider making a financial contribution to the foundation at http://www.billymockfoundation.org/donate.aspx. This will enable us to help others.
--Help us spread the word about the foundation and its good works.
--Save the Date - The Billy Mock Foundation 13th Annual Golf Outing, Auction and Dinner is scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2020. Plan to join us as a golfer, dinner guest and/or sponsor. Information on this event is forthcoming.
We thank you for your continued support. The Billy Mock Foundation remains committed to you, our supporters, and our community.
Billy Mock was a loving Christian with a dynamic enthusiasm for life. His infectiously positive attitude, ever-present smile and vibrant personality literally impacted the lives of thousands of people. Billy began fighting brain cancer in 2005 and touched thousands more until his death in 2007 at the age of 13.
SAVE $5 WHEN YOU JOIN A TEAM BEFORE APRIL 20th.
The Billy Mock Foundation (a 501(c) 3 charitable organization) is a tribute to him and his compassion for people, love for life, and passion for sports. Our mission is “SIMPLY HELPING OTHERS” which we do through the award of educational grants, the support of families in need and our Pay it Forward program.
