Juniata Valley Trail Run

The trail is mostly wooded, with a mix of gravel drive, woods trail, and field trail with approximately 700 feet of elevation. This is a rewarding, moderately challenging trail run through the woods, with some long, steady climbs and descents. There will also be a 1-mile walk through the first part of the trail and a kids Fun Run for participants who want a lighter fare. Fuel stations with water and Gatorade will be stationed approximately every mile. 

Timing provided by Falcon Race Timing 

Awards will be given in the following categories: Male and female, overall winners, 0 - 9, 10 - 12, 13 - 15, 16 - 25, 26 - 35, 36 - 45, 46 - 55, 56 - 65, 65 and older. There will be hot dogs, chips, snacks and drinks provided at no cost for the runners, their families and spectators. Everyone is welcome!

Proceeds from race fees will benefit the local Juniata Foster/Adopt Family Support group.  

Here at the Juniata Foster/Adopt Family Support group we endeavor to provide vital support to foster families and families post-adoption. Our goal is to build relationships, offer a community of mentoring, provide parenting education and offer socialization and recreational activities for families and their children. Juniata Foster/Adopt Group's provides meals and Care Packages to families with new placements or who find themselves with heavy loads. We network among ourselves to provide babysitting and respite. Our vision is to continue to develop new ways to serve the local Foster/Adoption community and provide hands on support for our local foster and adoptive children and families.
