Move with Moosic 5k Run/Walk

Moosic Borough is thrilled to announce the first annual Move with Moosic 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for June 8, 2025 with a 9AM start time. The race will begin at  the Moosic Youth Center, wind down Main Street and Minooka Avenue to Felter Field, pass by the Moosic High Alumni Memorial and Edmond Piaski Park on Elm Street, travel up Spring Street to Mary Ann Nawrocki Park, and loop back around to end with a celebration back at the Moosic Youth Center.

The event will kick off the summer in our community and all proceeds will be used to reimagine and rejuvenate our green spaces in Moosic Borough. As we prioritize public safety, maintaining and updating our infrastructure, and ensuring our roads are clear and our garbage is picked up, the Move with Moosic 5K Run/Walk serves as a reminder to take care of our parks too.

We are blessed with numerous recreational spaces for both our residents and beyond to enjoy. Some are updated and well-loved, while others desperately need our help. By participating in our 5k as a runner, walker, sponsor, or volunteer, you will have a positive impact on our hometown. And we would be so grateful for your support in whatever capacity you are able to give back.

Date: June 8th, 2024

Location: Moosic Youth Center, 606 Main St , Moosic, PA

Race Start: 9AM

Registration fee includes commemorative t-shirt. Medals will be awarded to top three runners in specific age groups. Packet pickup location will be announced prior to event.

Pre-registration is recommended, but same day registrations will be accepted beginning at 8AM. Same day registration fee is $35 (t-shirt not guaranteed day of)
