Description

Our 6th year!  This run celebrates the Everyday Hero.  In our past races, we've been honored to have veterans, first responders, small business owners, kids, runners of all levels, and awesome volunteers who give their time in their community.  That’s what this run is all about – celebrating the Everyday Hero. So, really, it's much more than a race!

The 6th Annual Everyday Hero is a fun, family friendly 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk dedicated to the memory of Jerome Rodio, an Oxford man whose great deeds and selfless acts helped bring together the community of Oxford, PA! More than a great citizen, Jerome was a fun, adventurous Dad & Grandpop!  Run (or walk) the scenic course through beautiful Nottingham Park! Proceeds benefit the Annual Veteran's Breakfast and the Oxford Chamber of Commerce, where Jerome was president at the time of his sudden passing in July, 2016. We're pretty sure he'd get a kick out of this fun race, inspired by his good deeds.

And check it out - A FREE BEER to runners over 21 years old (and some APPS!!) at the OTE in Oxford after our awards ceremony! And if beer isn't your thing, come out for a fun event then head over to Oxford and grab some brunch at the OTE or other delicious, local options! Or head off to beautiful Longwood Gardens!

Gift certificates for Age Group Winners for the 5k Run, and new for this year, EVERYONE WILL RECEIVE A MEDAL!

We'll also have a Kids Dash for ages 9 and under (registration not necessary)!

Cool Everyday Hero TANK TOP included and guaranteed for each pre-registered participant until 8/8/22!
