Charity Partner
We are excited to announce that the local charity partner for this event is The Adams County SPCA.
The Adams County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), is an IRC 501 c-3 non-profit organization that provides shelter and care for lost, abandoned and abused animals, investigates cases of cruelty to animals, recommends the prosecution of persons engaging in animal neglect or cruelty, helps control animal overpopulation and educates the community about spay/neuter programs, animal wellness and safety.
The Adams County SPCA is a private nonprofit organization that receives less than 1% of its annual operating budget of $650,000 from Adams County. We also receive donations from several townships/municipalities for our much needed services, but we continue to struggle to support the very important task of caring for the many animals that come through our doors. We do fundraising, memberships, apply for grants and receive some bequests. We take in approximately 1,200 animals per year and each year that number increases.

Can I Participate Virtually?
Absolutely! We have been getting many inquiries about virtual participation and have integrated a virtual option into our regular registration.
Please feel free to register through the regular registration link above and you can either:
1) Pick up packet during packet pickup or on the morning of the race, but run on your own (hint: wine ticket is still good if you use this strategy)
2) Contact us at any time to switch to the Haunted Wine Run Virtual Race and we'll ship your packet (There will be a $10.00 shipping and handling charge for this option)
Also, if you intend on running, but later change your mind and would like to do either of these options, that's ok too! If you are definitely going to have us ship your packet and run virtually though, we do recommend you follow the instructions below:
1). Go to runsignup.com/profile and log into your account.
2). Click on "Manage Registration" next to this race.
3). On the next page click on transfer to another race and choose the Haunted Wine Run Virtual Race.
