Description
The Bridget Ebbert Memorial Fund Virtual 5k will be a Turkey Trot this year! It is a VIRTUAL race benefiting the Bridget Ebbert Memorial Scholarship, which is a yearly community scholarship awarded to a Hampton High School student pursuing the performing arts at the collegiate level. All are welcome to participate, whether running, walking, skipping, or trotting! We want to encourage everyone to get their bodies moving as folks gather together over good food and better company to remember what they are grateful for!
Because the race is virtual, people can participate from the comfort of their favorite park or running route, anytime throughout the week. There will be no formal in-person race set up. Complete your 5k on your own, with a friend, or even with another turkey trot on Thanksgiving! All participants are encouraged to post their race times on this site. Two participants who post their race times on the site will be randomly chosen at the end of the week to receive a prize!
Entry is free with a suggested donation. Race t-shirts are available for $15 if you sign up before October 26th.
