For the Love of Lindsey 5K & Lil' Pickle Fun Run

For the Love of Lindsey was organized to keep the memory of Lindsey Marie Popelas alive. Lindsey passed away from Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2006 and was a person of great character and faith. Lindsey loved people and would always put others before herself. With this race, it is our hope to give back to the community in which Lindsey lived, by offering scholarships in her name and contributing to other organizations/non profits along the way. 2 years ago we added the Lil' Pickle Kids' Fun Run. This race is for kids under the age of 12 and was added to celebrate kids and encourage active healthy lifestyles. Furthermore, this kid's race reminds us of Lindsey's love for children and for PICKLES:) Register before August 19th for a FREE T-SHIRT!!! Lil Pickle Fun Run starts at 9:00AM. Runners will start at 9:30AM and Walkers start at 9:35AM. All participants of the Lil' Pickle Fun Run will receive a special pickle award when they cross the finish line. Awards will be given to the top 2 overall male and female runners and walkers. Age Group Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female (Runner and Walker) participants in the following age categories:  0-14 , 15-19 , 20-29 , 30-39 , 40-49 , 50-59 , 60-69, 70+
