08Nov2019 Bucks County 5K (9:30am Start)
This is THE 10th Annual Bucks County Marathon. THE DCNR HAS ASKED TO USE THE USATF certified DOUBLE OUT-AND-BACK "Chasing the Unicorn" course again this year. There will be limits of 220 in each day's event. For that reason we are limiting the Sunday 5K to those who have already entered. REGISTRATION will reopen after a successful Chasing the Unicorn Marathon - THE Alternative Half Marathon on Sunday, September 13, 2020.
PUBLIC HEALTH CONCERNS and community standards may alter some plans. Under current GREEN PHASE restrictions we will be limited to no more than 250 people on site, per day. Those counts include staff and volunteeers. For that reason we will request that you NOT bring spectators along with you to the park.
THE DCNR ACKNOWLEDGES THAT UNDER CURRENT GUIDELINES WE ARE SAFE TO PROCEED WITH PLANNING, PROVIDED WE ABIDE BY THE RESTRICTIONS AND ADHERE TO TO COVID MITIGATION PLANS WE HAVE IN PLACE. PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE CDC and RRCA GUIDELINES. AS OF AUGUST 1 WE ARE PLANNING ON USING MANY OF THE SAME STEPS WE WILL BE TAKING FOR OUR SEPTEMBER CHASING THE UNICORN MARATHON/ ALTERNATIVE HALF MARATHON. SEE THE YOUTUBE VIDEO HERE
Should the race be rescheduled or cancelled you will be given a credit, good for two years towards future runBUCKS events or merchandise.
We will also offer the 2020 SWAG for sale at that point, to reduce our costs and remove clutter from storage.

Plans was for the 2020 Bucks County Marathon course are to return to the single out and back (to just north of Virginia Forrest Recreation Area) but DCNR will only permit the double out-and-back course this year to to public impact.
BUCKY and BABY BUCKY partiipants receive not only the two race entries but additional swag (a hoodie), the opportunity to compete for Bucky and Baby Bucky Awards and race morning perks ( your own 10x10 tent and dedicated porta-john) SUBJECT TO CHANGE
WE DON'T OFFER DISCOUNT CODES. We like to offer everyone the lowest prices we can. The earlier you register the more you save. Let's face it those other races are artificially inflating their fees so they can track where you found out about their event, and that data is often flawed.
The course is 8 feet wide, and that is out-and-back, and the park is open to the public. Especially for this reason please don't ask if you can run with your very well behaved dog, cat, or ferret. You may be joined by Canada geese, whitetail deer, turtles, foxes and more. It is especially cool when the heron shows up.
There are no refunds or transfers. SEE POLICIES page at runBUCKS.com for complete deferral information
