Eva K Bowlby Library 5K Turkey Trot

The Eva K Bowlby Library Turkey Trot is the 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children's Fun Run. The event proceeds will provide needed support to meet the library's mission: The Eva K Bowlby Public Library connects the community with opportunities to enrich lives through empowerment, lifelong learning, and recreation; opening windows to the world and inspiring exploration and achievement. The event will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 beginning at the Bowlby Library Gazebo. The 1K Pet Walk will begin at 9AM followed by the 1K Children's Fun Run at 9:15AM, the 5K Walk at 9:30AM and 5K Run at 9:45AM. A prize for the best dressed pet will be given. All pets must be on a leash. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female walkers/runners in each age category. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided as well as other children's activities inside the library while parents run or walk in the race. If you are unable to participate in the 5K Turkey Trot, but would still like to donate, you can click the "Donate" button at the top of the page and indicate your donation amount.  If you are unable to participate in person or would like to participate virtually and would like a T-Shirt, select "Pardoned Turkey". Your T-Shirt can be picked up on race day at the library. T-Shirts and sizes are only guaranteed if you are registered by 10/27/25. T-Shirts will be given after 10/27/25 while supplies last and requested sizes are not guaranteed. The award ceremony will be held immediately following the race at the Gazebo.
