Williamsport Community Challenge 5k, 10k & Half Marathon Trail Races

Pull out your pens and mark your calendars for the November 5th Williamsport Community Trail Challenge!

This year’s challenge will once again include unique 5k, 10k and Half-Marathon options that will test your mettle on the pristine, Williamsport Municipal Water Authority property.

Again this year- Custom finisher medals for all events. Shirts/medals are only guaranteed to first 250 registered participants.

Time: Packet pickup begins at 8:30 am. Race begins at 10:00 am.

Costs: 5k- $30, 10k- $35, Half- $50

Once again, the Community Cup is up for grabs. The organization with the most race participants will win this award. In 2021 Lycoming College took home the Community Cup. Will your organization win it this year? Each year the Community Challenge Trail Races mark the kick-off of The Salvation Army’s annual “Red Kettle Season.” Proceeds from the trail races will benefit The Salvation Army’s Williamsport-area programs and services, as well as Penn College Veterans’ Services and Williamsport Area School District’s cross-country program. The Salvation Army thanks these local partners, who are working hard to ensure the 2022 Community Challenge is a successful and enjoyable event for all.

We look forward to seeing you on November 5th. If we must limit total participation to 250, then we will take the first 250 on the registration site; therefore, reserve your spot now. If you can’t make it, that’s okay; your registration will go directly to The Salvation Army, and we will still print you a shirt. Let’s have some fun while helping our brothers and sisters.
