We are pleased to announce the Williamsport Water Authority is allowing us to run this year’s Community Challenge trail race on the pristine watershed property located in Duboistown, PA. This year’s event will include a beautiful and challenging half marathon course with expanded single track trails, a 10k course of single and double track trails, and a new 5k course through beautiful wooded terrain. Capacity is limited to 350 total participants. Race maps and more details forthcoming, and feel free to email the RD with any questions you may have at email@example.com.

All participants will start and finish near the Mosquito Valley Road entrance gate of the Williamsport Watershed. Please take a look at the Strava links under the race descriptions. If unfamiliar with Strava, I recommend opening the links on a full screen computer, hover the mouse over the elevation grid below the map, and you will be able to see a mile-by-mile description of the courses.
Courses will be marked with trail tape on November 6th and multiple signs will be added on race day, prior to the race, to clarify turns, etc.
Half Marathon Course: The half marathon has extended single and double track trails, with rolling hills and two fairly strong climbs. Participants will gain about 800 ft of elevation between miles 7-9, with mile 8 being the most challenging of the course (rocky, single track).
10k Course: The 10k will be run on the beautiful Raccoon loop that includes runnable single and double track trails. Runners will capture about 400 ft of elevation and will have a fast, single track, downhill finish using the Bluebird trail to return to the start/finish line.
5K Course: A relatively fast and flat 3.1 mile loop through Shuler Woods. Participants will have one gradual climb and will gain 150 ft of elevation throughout the course.
