Shermanator Triathlon

It is with a heavy heart that we announce our difficult decision to discontinue the Shermanator Triathlon, which has been held at the Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center.

Since its inception, the Shermanator has raised funds for the YMCA, benefiting families in need in Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties. Our goal has always been to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities through our core values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Unfortunately, due to rising costs, logistical challenges, and decreased income, it is no longer feasible for us to continue this event.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years, including our athletes, volunteers, and sponsors. We are excited to explore new possibilities and hope you will join us as we seek other ways to engage our community.
