Running a race or walking in the one-mile event requires mental and physical preparation. I agree that I should not run or walk unless I am properly trained. I assume all hazards associated with running or walking this event, including but not confined to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including low temperature, road snow and ice, traffic and the conditions of the road, all risks known and appreciated. Having read this waiver and understanding these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Waterloo Library & Historical Society, Waterloo Central School District, New York State, Seneca County, Village of Waterloo, Town of Waterloo, all parking facilities, the registration sites, all food and beverage vendors, and all other sponsors, organizers, staff, volunteers and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to use my photo or likeness in future event promotions. I have read the above release and agree to the terms.
