RELEASE OF LIABILITY, INDEMNITY, WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT COMPLETELY BEFORE SIGNING. ITS EFFECT IS TO RELEASE VINEYARD OF GOD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (VOG) AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTIES FROM ANY LIABILITY RESULTING FROM YOUR STAY AND PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED AT VINEYARD OF GOD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, AND TO WAIVE ALL CLAIMS FROM DAMAGES OR LOSSES WHICH MAY ARISE FROM SUCH ACTIVITIES. 

I, do hereby affirm, acknowledge and agree that in consideration for the privilege of running and participating in Vineyard of God’s Guardian Run Fundraiser and/or participating in activities provided by or associated with VOG, I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless, discharge and covenant not to sue Vineyard of God Christian School, their principals, owners, trustees, directors, officers, successors, employees, assigns, representatives and their affiliates, related persons, and corporations (hereinafter referred to as RELEASES) from and against any and all liability, claims and/or demands, actions and causes of actions whatsoever arising out of or related in any way to any accidents, incident, loss, damage or injury, including death, whether or not caused by the negligence of the RELEASEES, sustained by me or my property, while staying at the PREMISES, in transportation to or from the PREMISES or arising from or related in any way to my participation in any activity and any time on the PREMISES.

I am fully aware that there are risks and hazards that are both natural and artificial, foreseeable and unforeseeable, associated with my presence and the use and enjoyment of the PREMISES. PREMISES include land, roads, water, watercourse, buildings, structures, playground equipment, and obstacle course. These risks include, but are not limited to, manmade fixtures both in and around the buildings and structures; playground equipment. I recognize and understand the inherent risk of injury to person or property by my presence on the PREMISES and participation in any/or all activities with RELEASES. I HEREBY DECLARE that I am of legal age and competent to sign this Agreement or, if not, that my parent or legal guardian shall sign on my behalf, and that my parent or legal guardian is in complete understanding and concurrence with this Agreement.

Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.

This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable and bib numbers are non transferable.

I am allowing my child to participate in the Guardian Run and be registered through the RunSign Up website and I am consenting to the collection and use of the information about the child for the purpose of the registration as described in Run Sign Ups privacy policy.  

By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above release and waiver including the no refund policy and give permission for my child(ren) to participate in the Guardian Run on May 3, 2025.
