1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in a swim clinic involves inherent risks, including but not limited to
drowning, slipping, physical injuries, or health complications. I voluntarily assume all risks associated
with my participation, whether foreseen or unforeseen.

2. Waiver of Liability
I hereby release, discharge, and agree not to sue the Greenville Triathlon and Multisport Club, its
officers, members, coaches, employees, volunteers, the Salvation Army Kroc Center, its owners, staff, or
agents, and any other parties associated with this event for any injury, illness, loss, or damage to myself
or my property arising out of my participation in the swim clinic.
This waiver applies to claims resulting from negligence, acts, or omissions of any released party.

3. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Greenville Triathlon and Multisport Club, its
officers, members, coaches, employees, volunteers, and the Salvation Army Kroc Center against any
claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from my actions or participation in the swim clinic, including
reasonable attorneys’ fees.

4. Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Greenville Triathlon and Multisport Club staff, the Salvation
Army Kroc Center staff, or emergency personnel to obtain necessary medical treatment for me. I agree
that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

5. Photography and Media Release
I understand that photographs, videos, or other recordings of the event may be taken for promotional
or educational purposes. I grant Greenville Triathlon and Multisport Club permission to use my likeness
in these materials without compensation.

6. Governing Law
This waiver and release shall be governed by the laws of the state of South Carolina. Any disputes arising
out of this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Greenville County, South Carolina.
In the event a participant initiates legal action and the claims are found to be without merit, the
participant agrees to reimburse the Greenville Triathlon and Multisport Club, the Salvation Army Kroc
Center, and any other released parties for all legal expenses, including but not limited to court costs and
attorneys’ fees.

7. Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read and understood this waiver. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily giving up certain legal rights
by signing this agreement. If signing on behalf of a minor, I certify that I am their parent or legal
guardian and that I agree to these terms on their behalf.
