If you plan to walk or "run some/walk some"- this is the event for you to sign up for.

If you plan to walk - this is not the event for you to sign up for.   You must be able to maintain a 15:00/per mile pace (3:16:39) which is the average last finisher in the last 12 years.   Most "run some/walk some" athletes will be able to maintain this pace for the duration of the event.   If you can not average under 15:00 per mile, please take part in the 5k event.   Please keep in mind that officers that are hired work on a 3 hr min at $80/hr so as much as I want to keep the course open- I just can not have athletes on the course without safety present- it is for your safety.
