In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound do hereby waive and forever release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignup.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, and waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks typical found in running a road race. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me. I agree to abide by all decisions of any race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that a licensed Medical Doctor has verified my physical condition.

In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency arising during the event I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic and/ or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization.

By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above release and waiver.

Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.

5K Run Dog Participation Waiver and Release of Liability

As a participant in the Reinhartsen SK Run ("Event") who will be running with a dog, I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions as outlined below.

1. Assumption of Risk and Responsibility
I acknowledge that running with a dog involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury to myself, my dog, other participants, spectators, or animals. I voluntarily assume all risks for injuries to myself, other individuals, and animals, and to property arising from my participation and associated with running with my dog in this Event.

I agree to take full responsibility for the control of my dog and for the actions of my dog before, during, and after the Event, including but not limited to ensuring my dog is under control at all times, behaves in a non-aggressive manner, and does not pose a threat to any person or animal.

2. Compliance with Graham, North Carolina Code of Ordinances
I understand and agree to comply with all applicable provisions of the Graham Code of Ordinances regarding domestic and dangerous animals, including but not limited
to:

• Ensuring my dog is leashed at all times with a leash no longer than [insert applicable length, e.g., 6 feet].
• Preventing my dog from causing a public nuisance, such as excessive barking, aggression, or any other behavior that disrupts the Event or endangers others or their animals.
• Certifying that my dog is current on all required vaccinations, including rabies, and my dog is not classified or been previously reported to local authorities as dangerous or potentially dangerous under local laws.

3. Release of Liability
In consideration of my participation in the Event, I, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Alamance Community College and its Board of Trustees, the City of Graham, event sponsors, and their respective officers, staff employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, including any injury, damage, or harm attributable to or caused by my dog.

4. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising out of my dog's participation in the Event, including
any injury or damage caused to others or their property by my dog.

5. Acknowledgment and Agreement
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Event and all applicable local laws. I understand that failure to comply with these terms may result in disqualification from the Event and/or legal consequences.
