Hold Harmless Waiver - Must Be Read in Entirety
I know that walking in a road walk is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and through my registration, I certify that I am medically able to walk and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a walk official relative to any aspect of my participation in this walk, including the right of any official to deny my participation for any reason whatsoever. By registering, I attest that I have read the guidelines of the walk and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with walking in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, and my physical and mental state of health, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, animals, and personal music players are not allowed in the walk and I will abide by all walk guidelines. In my judgment I have sufficient competence and experience to participate safely.
Confirmation of Physical Fitness: I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event and I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person. Through my registration above, knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Lauren’s Kids "Walk in My Shoes," all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.

Media Release: By registering for this walk, I give Lauren's Kids permission to take my photo and use it in advertising on all platforms. NOTE: If you do NOT want your photo taken at the Walk, please email andrew@laurenskids.org to be marked as NO PHOTO or let us know when you check in for registration. We will provide a wristband on-site and our photographer will not include you in Walk images.
