WAIVER AND RELEASE FOR EVENT, PHOTO, VIDEO, AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19

Release: By my signature below, I hereby release and hold harmless and will defend The 100 Mile Club; as well as each such entities’ members, partners, schools, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, licensees, invitees, employees, lessees, customers, sponsors and representatives (collectively, “Indemnified Parties”) against and from any and all liabilities, obligations, losses, penalties, actions, suits, claims, damages or injuries of any kind, in law or in equity, that may result from any and all injuries and/or damages suffered by myself, my child or any other family by participating in the 100 Mile Club Run4Kids event being held on May 3, 2025.

Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe and any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately.

I hereby release and discharge the Indemnified Parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, damages, obligations, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including payment of attorneys’ fees, that I may have against the Indemnified Parties of whatever kind or nature, whether known or unknown, resulting from or in any way connected to The 100 Mile Club and the 100 Mile Club Run4Kids event.

I hereby agree that my name, photograph or video from the event may be used for publicity purposes relating to the event or the organization by the Indemnified Parties and its designated agents.
