ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

T-SHIRT SIZING: I understand that once my registration is complete I cannot change the selected T-Shirt size. (Make sure you review your selection before finalizing your registration.)

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT: I understand that RunFit Kidz coaches must focus on coaching and that VOLUNTEERING 1X PER SEASON IS REQUIRED. The coach will send out a sign-up genius prior to the start of the season. We ask for your flexibility and willingness to help out to make it a great season.  If you cannot volunteer please contact us to discuss options. Failure to reach out to discuss may result in child's roster spot being declined.

ABSENTEEISM: I understand that it is the parent/guardian's responsibility to text/email the coach in a timely manner if your child will be absent from RunFit Kidz - texting or calling when class has already started is not considered timely.  If a runner is absent the coach will make ONE attempt to CALL a family member using the phone number provided under "during class" number. Please be sure that you have the coach's email and cell programmed in your phone.

TECHNOLOGY:  Participant safety is paramount, and we will not allow headphones of any kind (air pods, beats, etc) during our class. Runners may wear/use a Garmin/Apple/smart watch to track their efforts, however, the watches may not be used to call/text parents during class. If a child has an issue of any kind their first course of action is to speak with the coach.

I do for myself, my executors or administrators, parents, heirs, next of kin, and assigns, waive any and all claims as may accrue to me or them against PR Training Programs, LLC an its coaches, sponsors (including the Potomac River Running Inc), members, employees and agents, as applicable, arising out of my participation in any of the training or racing events, social events, or any related activities, organized by or participated in by PR Training Programs and RunFitKidz whether formally or unofficially.

I know that running and exercise are potentially hazardous, physically strenuous activities which require the participant to be in a superior state of health, to be assessed, determined, and approved by his/her own self and by his/her personal doctor. I assume all risks associated with running and exercising in this program, including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather (including ice/snow, high heat and/or humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the road or track); such conditions are known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in in order to have my registration accepted, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, including my executors or administrators, parents, heirs, next of kin, and assigns, waive and release PR Training Programs, LLC, Potomac River Running Inc, the Fairfax and/or Loudoun County School Boards, the program directors and coaches, sponsors, employees and agents, as applicable, from any and all claims and liabilities related in any manner to or arising out of my participation in any of the training or racing events, social events, or any related activities, organized by or participated in by PR Training Programs, whether formally or unofficially, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in the waiver. I do further agree to and do hereby indemnify the aforesaid organizations and persons from any claim, demand or judgment against them, including the costs of attorney's fees and expenses incurred in the defense of such claims made.

I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, or other record of this event for any legitimate purpose without compensation to me.

This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. 

By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above release and waiver including the no refund policy.
