I know that running or walking a road race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. 

I assume all risks associated with running or walking in this event, including but not limited to: falls and physical contact with other participants, volunteers, race personnel, contract service providers, employees, and spectators including the potential contraction of a communicable disease resulting from contact with other participants, volunteers, race personnel, contract service providers, employees, and spectators. I assume all risks including: the effects of the weather; high heat and/or humidity; freezing cold temperatures; dehydration; traffic and the conditions of the road including surrounding terrain. I assume all such risks being known, appreciated, and accepted by me. In addition, I acknowledge the contagious nature of communicable diseases and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by communicable diseases by participating in this event. I acknowledge that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and/or death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by a communicable disease in connection with my participation in this event and personally assume this risk.

In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency arising during the event, I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director and/or her representatives to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic and/ or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization.

I agree to abide by all rules governing the event for which I am registering. I acknowledge that unsportsmanlike conduct is unacceptable and will not be permitted during any Runnersville Ladies-hosted event, as well as any pre- and/or post-event activity, to include communications (written and/or verbal) with race staff and volunteers. "Unsportsmanlike conduct" shall include, but not limited to, failure to heed the instructions of the event director, Runnersville Ladies board members and coaches, intersection monitors, Arkansas Tech University Public Safety officers, and Russellville Police Department officers; intentional or flagrant disregard of principles of safety; or abusive language or actions toward any event volunteer, worker, participant, or spectator. I understand and agree that should my actions and/or language be considered unsportsmanlike that I may (at the discretion of the event director and Runnersville Ladies board) have my registration terminated and be prohibited from participating in future Runnersville Ladies events. The event director and Runnersville Ladies board reserve the right to reject any entry.

I understand that bandits (unregistered racers), bicycles (with the exception of race-designated support cyclists), skateboards, roller skates or inline skates, scooters, hoverboards, pets (with the exception of Runnersville coach Sophie, the therapy dog), and personal music players are not allowed in the race, and I will abide by all race rules. 

I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them.

Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.

This event follows the standard running industry policy. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that this event does not provide for refunds in the event of a cancellation, and by signing this waiver, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled before or during the event.

By submitting this entry, I certify that I have read this waiver and fully understand its content. I (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract, and I sign it of my own free will. I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf including my heirs, am legally bound do hereby waive and forever release the Runnersville Ladies, its board, director, coaches, and volunteers; Road Runners Club of America; the city of Russellville; Arkansas Tech University; RunSignUp; River Valley Runners; Some DJ Named Robb; Nerf Blast; Murdock Portable Toilets and Septic Tank, Inc.; Ghirardelli Chocolate Company and all other event sponsors; and representatives and successors of the aforementioned from any and all rights and claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of mine or my minor children’s participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities named in this waiver. This release includes all injuries up to death and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. This waiver of liability and its full contents applies to my minor children I am registering for the event and to my minor children who may attend the event as spectators. If I, as a race registrant, choose to push my child in a stroller on the race course during the event, I accept full responsibility for the child including injury up to death, waiving all liability. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.
