I desire to participate in RunVermont's Summer Series event in Morrisville, VT and/or Essex Junction, VT. I acknowledge that running has inherent dangers and can be a dangerous sport. I assume all risks of running along roadways. I hereby for myself, my heirs, and executors, waive, release and hold harmless RunVermont and all organizations and persons associated with the Summer Series, including but not limited to the municipalities of Morrisville and Essex Junction, sponsors, and the officers, directors, shareholders and/or members, agents, or employees of each, all medical and other personnel assisting with the event, from any and all claims, liabilities, rights or causes of action of whatsoever kind or nature, including but not limited to those arising from negligence on the part of any of the aforementioned persons or entities, for damages for any and all injuries to me or my property, or for damage caused by me or by anyone else (including Acts of God), in connection with participation. I hereby certify that: (1) I am in good health and (2) I have trained to run the distance of the Race which I am entering. I further understand that the presence of extreme weather conditions may cause cancellation of the event and that if such were to occur that no refunds are provided to event participants. I also hereby grant full permission to RunVermont, and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose at any time without compensation. Strollers and pets not allowed except for strollers pushed by a participant who has signed a Replacement Stroller Waiver the day of the event.

UNREGISTERED RUNNERS 
RunVermont events are organized under and conducted according to USATF and RRCA rules. Anyone who participates in an event produced by RunVermont must be properly registered and must have paid any required registration fees prior to the start of the race. Entrants in RunVermont events will be given a race bib for scoring purposes and to aid course officials in identifying legitimate participants during the event. Bibs may not be transferred from a registered participant to any other person. A registered runner who provides their bib to another runner will also be treated as an unregistered runner and subject to the sanctions described here. Individuals who participate in any RunVermont event without registering will be removed from the race. RunVermont reserves the right to bar unregistered participants from future RunVermont events. Unregistered individuals participating in RunVermont events may also be subject to additional sanctions from USATF and/or RRCA. Additional sanctions may be taken including prosecution for theft of services. 

We do NOT offer refunds for this event. Entries may not be transferred to another runner.
