I do hereby recognize that I am participating in the Run High Bridge 5k to benefit the Cumberland County Public School Foundation. The Cumberland County Public School Foundation benefits fully in the proceeds.

I do hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Cumberland Education Foundation, Inc., its directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability to the undersigned, personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person or property or resulting in death of the undersigned whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise while participating in the Run High Bridge 5k.

The undersigned hereby assumes full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death or property damage while participating in the RUN High Bridge 5K. The undersigned fully expressly agrees that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the law of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I acknowledge an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), senior citizens and people with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending this event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

* I agree to allow the Cumberland County Public Schools Foundation full use of images and other promotional materials (photographs, video tape, audio tape) taken during the Run/Walk for purposes of promoting the High Bridge Trail, Cumberland County Public Schools Foundation, and Town of Farmville this year and in future years.
