On Wednesday, June 24th, Team UpperEdge will proudly kick off the 2026 8,000 Steps for 8p Heroes Walk to support families affected by rare chromosome 8p disorders. The event will bring together colleagues, families, and friends for a powerful afternoon of unity, awareness, and action in downtown Boston.

We walk in honor of our very own 8p hero, Olivia, and the approximately 500 children around the world living with this rare condition. The 8,000 Steps for 8p Heroes campaign supports the Project 8p Foundation, a nonprofit accelerating research and improving the lives of those affected by 8p neurodevelopmental disorders.
