I know that running and walking are potentially hazardous activities. I should not enter and run or walk unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running or walking in this event including, but not limited to: falls; contact with other participants, event organizers and leaders, volunteers, personnel, spectators, sports teams and athletes that may also share the training facility, including the potential contraction of a communicable disease resulting from such contact; the effects of weather, from freezing cold temperatures to high heat and/or humidity; traffic; and course conditions whether it be a road, track, or other terrain; and I waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me. I agree to abide by all decisions of any official relative to my ability to safely complete the training camp. I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this training camp that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that a licensed Medical Doctor has verified my physical condition.
In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency arising during the event I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director and/or her representatives to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic and/ or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization.
As it applies to my participation in this training camp, I agree to abide by all rules governing the event for which I am registering. I acknowledge that unsportsmanlike conduct is unacceptable and will not be permitted during any Runnersville Ladies event, as well as any pre- and/or post-event activity, to include communications (written and/or verbal) with race staff and volunteers. "Unsportsmanlike conduct" shall include, but not limited to, failure to heed the instructions of the volunteer training camp director, board, and coaches, intentional or flagrant disregard of principles of safety, or abusive language or actions toward any training camp volunteer, participant, or spectator. I understand and agree that should my actions and/or language be considered unsportsmanlike that I may (at the discretion of the Runnersville director and board) have my registration terminated and be prohibited from participating in future Runnersville Ladies events. The Runnersville Ladies director and board reserve the right to reject any entry.
I understand that chewing gum, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or inline skates, and animals other than service animals are not allowed at the Runnersville Ladies Training Camp sessions. I understand that baby joggers/strollers are not allowed on the track surface at Russellville High School Cyclone Stadium. I understand that for safety reasons, personal music players are discouraged, and if I choose to use one, I must only have one earbud in so I can hear instructions at all times. I agree to abide by this and any Runnersville Ladies event rules.
Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.
This event follows the standard running industry policy. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice.
BY SUBMITTING THIS ENTRY, I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I (OR A PARENT OR ADULT GUARDIAN FOR ALL CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS) AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT, AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
By submitting this entry, I certify that I have read this document and fully understand its content. I (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract, and I sign it of my own free will. I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf including my heirs, am legally bound do hereby waive and forever release the Runnersville Ladies, its board, director, coaches, representatives, and volunteers; Road Runners Club of America; the city of Russellville; Russellville School District; Russellville Parks and Recreation; RunSignUp; and all event sponsors, representatives, and successors from any and all rights and claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of mine or my minor children’s participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. This release includes all injuries up to death and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. This waiver of liability and its full contents applies to my minor children I am registering for the event and to my minor children, including those being pushed in a stroller, who may attend the event as spectators. I accept full responsibility for my minor children who may attend the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.
