By submitting my entry for this event, I, the participant, acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Release of Liability
I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge the Event Director, RunSignup.com, all event sponsors, their representatives, agents, volunteers, and employees from any and all claims for injuries, damages, or losses to myself or my personal property that may occur before, during, or after the event. This release is binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in a trail running event is a potentially hazardous activity. I affirm that I am medically able and properly trained to participate. I assume all risks associated with this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with participants, wildlife encounters, uneven terrain, weather conditions, and all other risks inherent in trail running. I accept full responsibility for my safety and agree to abide by all decisions of race officials regarding my ability to complete the event.
3. Medical Authorization
In the event of illness, injury, or a medical emergency during the race, I authorize the Event Director to obtain necessary medical treatment for me from any accredited medical provider. I agree to be fully responsible for all costs related to such treatment, including transportation, medications, and hospitalization.
4. Media Release
I grant permission to the event organizers and their agents to use my name, voice, and image in photographs, videos, results postings, or any other recordings of the event for legitimate promotional or informational purposes.
5. Entry Policies
I acknowledge that all entry fees are non‑refundable. The event may be postponed or canceled due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, including natural disasters or emergencies, and no refunds will be issued in such cases. Event details may change without prior notice. Bib numbers and entries are non‑transferable.
By submitting this entry, I affirm that I have read, understand, and agree to all of the above terms. For participants under age 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent.
