I, the person submitting this entry, am aware that participating in an event such as a race or relay is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I certify that I am medically fit and in good health to participate and have sufficiently trained for the event prior to participation. I agree to abide by the rules and decisions of any event official, relative to participation, and assume all risks associated with the weather such as high heat and/or humidity, traffic, road conditions, falls, contact with other participants or spectators, all such risks being known and appreciated. In consideration of acceptance of the entry fee, and intending to be legally bound, I and any one entitled to act on my behalf assume all risks associated with participation, and waive any and all claims whatsoever against, and fully release and hold harmless, race day volunteers, sponsors, and all event promoters, including but not limited to Run For The Children, DoMore Races, Virginia’s House-Dr. Goodall's House, the City of Graham, Young County, anyone acting on behalf of the Run For The Children 10K/5K/1K Fun Run, and their representatives and successors, from all claims of liability for death, personal injury, damages, losses, or liability of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, whether arising from the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

I grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use my name, photographs, recordings, or any other record of participation in this event for legitimate purposes, without obligation or liability to me. I understand that entry fees are not refundable. I have read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.

FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF PARTICIPANT OF MINOR AGE (UNDER AGE 18 AT TIME OF REGISTRATION)  

This is to certify that I, as parent/guardian with legal responsibility for this participant, do consent and agree to his/her release as provided above of all the Releasees, and, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liability incidents to my minor child’s involvement or participation in these programs as provided above, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
