In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound do hereby waive and forever release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignup.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.
I know that running a race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, and waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks typically found in running a road race. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me. I agree to abide by all decisions of any race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that a licensed Medical Doctor has verified my physical condition.
In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency arising during the event I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic and/ or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization.
Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.
This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable and bib numbers are non transferable.
By registering for this event, participants acknowledge that Run Society Co. organizes races that support the Run For Good Foundation, an initiative focused on providing running shoes to elementary and middle school students in the community.
A portion of race proceeds and event-based contributions may be used to support this initiative, including the purchase and distribution of running shoes and youth running support programs.
Donation amounts are determined based on event participation, miles completed, sponsorship contributions, and overall event performance, and are not guaranteed to equal a specific dollar amount per participant.
Participants understand that race registration fees are primarily for event operations, including permits, insurance, timing services, shirts, medals, marketing, and event management, and that contributions to the Run For Good initiative are made at the discretion of Run Society Co.
Run Society Co. reserves the right to allocate funds, donations, and contributions in a manner that best supports the mission of providing running opportunities and footwear to youth in the community.
By registering for this event, participants acknowledge that entry into any associated giveaway, raffle, or prize drawing is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by Run Society Co.
Giveaway entries may be awarded through race registration, promotional events, or sponsor promotions. Entry quantities, eligibility requirements, and prize details may vary by event.
Winners will be selected at random from eligible entries unless otherwise specified. Participants do not need to be present to win unless stated in event-specific rules.
Run Society Co. reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless otherwise determined by Run Society Co.
If an event is canceled, postponed, or modified due to weather, safety concerns, low registration, sponsor changes, or other unforeseen circumstances, Run Society Co. reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any associated giveaway or prize drawing.
By participating, entrants agree that Run Society Co., its sponsors, partners, and affiliates are not responsible for any costs, damages, injuries, or losses related to the acceptance, use, or participation in any prize awarded.
Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, insurance, travel costs, or additional expenses associated with prize acceptance and use.
Run Society Co. reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of tampering with the entry process, violating event rules, or engaging in unsportsmanlike or fraudulent behavior.
Participation in the giveaway constitutes permission for Run Society Co. to use the winner’s name, photo, and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
No purchase or race registration is necessary to enter or win the giveaway. To enter without registering for the race, participants may submit a mail-in entry or alternative entry method as described on the event website.
