Description
Join us for the 17th annual Point of Honor 5K. This event raises awareness for organ and tissue donation, as well as providing funds to LifeNet Health, a leading enabler of the organ and tissue donation process.
This year's event will take place starting in Downtown Lynchburg, with race HQ at the Depot Grille. The start and finish line are just a short walk away from this location.
Due to anticipated work on the Blackwater Creek Trail, the utilized course for 2026 is still under consideration. Upon final determination, a course map will be provided. Note that the course will start and finish at the Depot Grille adjacent locations, with the majority of the course utilizing the Blackwater Creek Trail.

This event is walker-friendly, and all proceeds support LifeNet Health’s life-saving mission.
Registration Fees:
$30 (Jan. 1– Feb. 28, 2026) | $35 (March 1 – April 2, 2026) | $40 (April 3 – April 4, 2026)
SPECIAL 12 & UNDER PRICING*
$15 (Jan 1– April 2, 2026) | $25 (April 3 – April 4, 2025)
12 & under pricing does not include a race shirt. A shirt can be added for $10.
Please note: Based on recommendations from the Cleveland Clinic and RRCA youth participation guidelines, this event is limited to ages 8 and older.
Registration fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Entries may only be used by the person registered and cannot be deferred to future events.
Lynchburg Road Runners Discount
Current LRRC members receive a $5 discount from Jan – March 21, 2026. Discounts will not be applied after this date. Membership must be current in the RunSignUp roster and valid through race day (4/5/2026). This discount does not apply to 12 & Under pricing.

Assisted Participants
We welcome assisted participants! Individuals being pushed in an event-appropriate stroller (hand brake, tether, suitable wheels) and their pushers must both register. Assisted participants will start prior to the main 5K and will be ranked separately. Please indicate this classification during registration to help us plan accordingly.
T-SHIRTS
Guaranteed to those registered by March 1, 2026.
A limited number of extra shirts are ordered after this deadline and available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.
