HAVEN will cancel the Mother’s Day 5K on May 10, 2020.
We are excited to announce a new one time virtual event in its place! A virtual online “Gifting Back” event. The virtual event will be an online auction of gift certificates to local businesses. Below are the steps of the process.
+HAVEN asks community members to support their favorite local businesses by purchasing online gift cards in the amount of $35 or more with the recipient as ‘HAVEN Donation’.
+Community members then donate these gift cards to HAVEN via email.
+HAVEN will post these gift cards on our online auction platform.
+Community members can then virtually bid on these gift cards as a way to support HAVEN. Those proceeds will go straight to services for our survivors and bidders will win gift cards to use at a later date!
We are SO excited to give support to the local businesses who make our community amazing while also supporting survivors. Please consider purchasing a gift card from your favorite spot, donating the gift card, and then participating in our auction!
