FUN FACT: A massive cleanup effort to remove all the lead-based paint (because it's harmful to humans, animals and the environment) from the bridge took 30 years to complete. It started in 1965 and ended in 1995.
MAVERICKS SURF BREAK - located in Half Moon Bay, CA (20 miles south of San Francisco)
FUN FACT: Mavericks is one of the deadliest, most feared surf spots in the world with waves reaching 60ft. The water is infested with Great White Sharks and only the bravest surfing daredevils have attempted to surf this break. In 2013, Apple honored California's big wave by naming their operating system "Mavericks".
