In the town of Mityana you will find the headquarters of the Kolping Mityana Women's Project.  The Kolping Mityana Women's Project was named after Adolph Kolping,  a German Catholic priest who led the movement to provide and promote social support for workers in industrialized cities while also working to promote the dignities of workers in accordance with the social magisterium of the faith. Today, the  Kolping Mityana Women's Project provides support and training to help make beneficiaries self-reliant.
