You’ve just reached Rae Lakes!

You’ve traveled 22.7 miles, and now it’s time to celebrate by soaking your feet in the famous Rae Lakes! As you enjoy a nice soak, you’ll also be greeted by views of “The Fin” and “The Painted Lady.” This is one of the most popular hikes in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, if not the entire Sierra! Views to the south reveal Glen Pass, the highest point of the race at 11,978 ft.

Did you know that there are 3,200 lakes and ponds in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks that support a variety of animals and plants? Want to learn more about the lakes and ponds in Sequoia and Kings Canyon? Learn more here.
