You’ve made it to check point 9, Lunar Orbiter 1 base. A massive congratulations for sticking with it. NASA's Lunar Orbiter 1 was the first U.S. spacecraft to orbit the Moon. It photographed potential Apollo landing sites and captured the first picture of Earth taken from the vicinity of the Moon.
