FINISH LINE VOLUNTEERS
LOCATION:
Jasna Polana. Please look at a map for location as you must enter the golf course from the 206 entrance, not the Province Line Road entrance. You will park in the main lot which is across from where the finish line area will be.
TIME:
Please arrive by 7:45 AM so we can begin to setup the finish line area. Your shift will be over at 10 AM.
DETAILS:
You will be setting up snacks, water and medals for when finishers return. (~7 cases water, 2 cases bananas, 1 case apples, 7 dozen bagels, 7 lbs cream cheese.)
As finishers approach, you will want to keep them moving through the finish line so they are not hit by the next runner coming in. You will hand and/or direct them to a water and the snack area.
You can manage the medals. Medals are not for all finishers but rather overall and age group winners. There will be an awards announcement at 9:15/9:20 but Courtney will provide data from timing company for those who wish to just pick up their award prior to the ceremony.
After the race, you can help with our quick clean-up of the finish line area.
