COURE MARSHAL
LOCATION:
Jasna Polana. Please look at a map as you must enter the golf course from the 206 entrance, not the Province Line Road entrance. GPS will likely take you to the wrong entrance.
TIME:
Unless noted on the spreadsheet of assignments, arrive by 8 AM, race starts at 8:30 AM, you will be done by 9:30 AM.
DETAILS:
You will park in the main lot which is across from the finish line and then walk to your location on the course. Marshal 1 is towards the start line and can take a shuttle to their location. Marshal 2 and 3 will be at the parking lot. All other locations will be towards the 206 entrance so please be careful walking to your location as there will be oncoming traffic.
The course will be coned and chalked (assuming good weather) so you are an added measure to keep participants going in the right direction and prevent them from running into each other. We have a lot of 2-way traffic on this course.
A lead bike will tell you when the runners are coming. When the last walker goes by the club house on the way out, we will ask them to proudly own that role and inform you as they go by so that you know your shift is officially over.
It would be helpful if you brought a bottle of water with you to wash away the chalk arrows when your job is done. We are required to do as part of the cleanup.
