Can I register on race day?
You can register on race day if we don't sell out! Visit registration/packet pickup table prior to race start.
I'm "SOUPER" excited to have a bowl of soup this year! What kind of soup will be available?
Hot soup is a tradition at this race. The classics will be served - potato leek, chicken noodle, and butternut squash (vegetarian/vegan choice).
Are there any aid stations?
Yes, aid stations are located every 1-2 miles on the course. The 5K has one aid station, the 10K has three aid stations, and the half marathon has seven aid stations. Aid stations have water, Gatorade, first aid kits, and emergency communication. There will be GU at A4, A5, A6, and A7 of the half marathon.
What are race day temperatures?
Average Temp: low 35 – high 55, trail has been known for it's wet conditions so be ready to get muddy!!
What can the kids do while Mom, Dad, family or friends run?
There is a playground for the kids located close to the start/finish line. There is also an awesome disc golf course at the park, horses to pet, and trails to hike.
Can I walk the event?
Yes! We have no cut off times. Walker, newbie, parents with kids, mid-pack runner, or super-fast seasoned racers - all are welcome at our races.
Do you allow dogs on the course?
We love our furry friends, but for everyone's safety, we ask that you keep them at home.
Can I listen to my music while running?
In-ear earphones are not permitted because folks need to be aware of their surroundings. We go into this in depth in the pre-race email. We are allowing bone conduction 'earphones'. So, the answer is yes, but no in-ear earphones.
What is your race day cancellation policy?
In the event the race is canceled for any reason, racers may choose between a full refund (minus the runsignup processing fee) or a coupon code for 100% of the registration fee paid. If a runner is not able to attend the race, we offer very liberal refund, credit, and transfer policies. See the policies HERE.
