Race Period: April 1 - April 28, 2025
Solidarity Run: Join us virtually on Sunday, April 27th at 2 pm, coinciding with our in-person 5K.
Location: Run or walk anywhere—parks, treadmills, neighborhood streets!
Participation Kit: Receive a downloadable race bib to print and wear proudly during your run or walk.
Nationwide Challenge: Help us have participants from all 50 States! Join us to create nationwide impact.

HONOR JUSTICE, MAKE AN IMPACT

We run in memory of 1st LT Justice R. Stewart, a fallen United States Marine Corps officer who had a giving heart, a selfless soul, an infectious laugh, and a heartwarming smile. 1st LT Stewart was a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, a friend, and a Marine. She was artistic, confident, and ambitious, setting goals years in advance. 1st LT Stewart tragically lost her life while she was on a run. We run for her. Every time our foot hits the pavement, it is symbolic of a heartbeat, bringing life into the memories that 1st LT Stewart left behind to share with the world.

Welcome to the "FOR THE LOVE OF JUSTICE" Virtual 5K Race, a special event honoring the legacy of 1ST LT Justice R. Stewart, USMC. Join us in supporting the Empowering Justice Charitable Foundation at Central Carolina Community Foundation, dedicated to promoting pathways out of poverty.

How the Virtual 5K Race Works:

Race Period: April 1 - April 15, 2024 or you may choose to run with us in solidarity on Sunday, April 14th at 2 pm (the same time as our in-person 5K.

Flexibility: Complete your 5K run or walk anytime within these 15 days.
Location: Anywhere you prefer! Whether it's a park, a treadmill, or your neighborhood street.
Recording Your Time: You have the freedom to upload your time through various tracking options or enter it manually for your convenience.
Participation Kit: All participants will receive a downloadable bib to print and wear during their run/walk.

Nationwide Challenge: We're aiming to have participants in all 50 States! Join us in this exciting endeavor to create a nationwide impact.
