Due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and Health Issue the GTC Reedy River Run has been rescheduled. The new date is Monday, September 6, 2021, which is Labor Day.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unique and difficult period.
We hope to open new registration on May 1, 2021.
As of this time our plan Is to limit the 10K to 1,000 participants and the 5K to 750 participants. These numbers could change (to allow more) depending on health safety restrictions.
Additional race information can be found at http://gtcreedyriverrun.com.
The United Community Bank Reedy River Run 10K is one of the oldest road races in the south and will be celebrating its 43rd running on September 6, 2021, Labor Day. With the start and finish on Greenville's famous Main Street, you will take a tour of downtown and beautiful Cleveland Park.
The United Community Bank 43rd Reedy River Run 10K has been selected as the 2021 Road Runners Club of America South Carolina State 10K Championship. The event was previously the 2017 RRCA South Carolina State 10K Championship and the 2019 RRCA Southern Region 10K Championship.
Our primary objective is to conduct the safest running event as is possible. Therefore, we will follow COVID-19 Protocols that are recommended in the weeks leading up to and including the event. We have planned for a Social Distancing start procedure which will include Starting Waves of a limited number of runners. Those waves for the 10K will be determined by Bib Number/Color and Estimated Finishing Time (entered during registration). Masks may be required until the start and after the finish.

However, you may transfer your entry to another runner by accessing your personal RunSignUp account and managing your race entry. While we love babies and pets, our race course's characteristics (some narrow paths and tight turns) do not allow for either baby joggers/strollers or pets on leashes. Thank you for your understanding.
Bandits are strictly prohibited at Greenville Track Club events. A bandit is anyone who participates in an event without registering and without an official race number. This includes running on the race route during the event times (7:20 am until 10:00 am). This is not only a safety issue, as race officials are unable to identify bandits in the case of an emergency, but also a drain on event resources. If caught, bandits will be requested to leave the race course and event area immediately. It may also impact the bandit's eligibility to participate in future Greenville Track Club events and program. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
