The 12th Annual Fin Island Trail Run

The 12 annual  Fin Island Trail Run is a virtual race this year!  In these crazy times we want people to know that we are still going strong.  So for everyone's safety we will not be getting together this year but getting together online.  Your start/finish line is where ever you make it. Your route is what ever you decide.  You want flat and leisure? you got it! You want some rolling hills and mud?  Go for it!

Participants can choose between the 1K family run,  5K, 10K, and long course (16k) virtual race options. All participants must run the race of their choice on Friday August 28th,  Saturday, August 29 or Sunday, August 30th.

What is a virtual race?

A virtual race is a race that you can run or walk at any location of your choice. On Friday August 28th ,Saturday August 29 or Sunday August 30th, pick one of these dates, pick your own start time and finish line! Then, submit your race result to see where you placed with all the other participants. Please see details on how to submit race results in the section below. 

How to Submit Results: 

Please email your result to thefinteam@gmail.com

When you register, you will be automatically assigned a bib number. When submitting results, the email subject line must be formatted as follows: Bib number, Name, Race Distance, and Time. For example: Bib 152, Jane Smith, Long course, 1:32:33 

***Proof of performance is required. Please include a screenshot of your activity on a fitness tracker (i.e. Strava, Garmin, Nike, etc.). Only results that provide proof of performance will be accepted. 

Results must be submitted on Friday August 28, Saturday, August 29th or Sunday, August 30th. If your result is not submitted on either of these days it will not be accepted. Final results will be posted in the next coming week.  We will post the results on our website www.finislandtrailrun.com

*The Family 1 K run-  If you plan on registering your family for the 1 K run just enter one person to represent the whole family. Start together and finish together.  Send in your screenshot on your fitness tracker along with your shared bib number, family name(s), race distance, and time in the subject line. Also please put the number of people who accomplished the 1 K.  

Last Day to register will be August 27th midnight.

All participants who send in their results will be entered into a draw to win a prize from one of our local businesses!
