PARKING/TRANSPORTATION
There are NO remote parking lots, so please park legally within the City of Havre de Grace, and respect 'No Parking' signs, as well as driveways of residents and businesses. Race Parking is not available in the Havre de Grace Basin Marina lot or along Union Avenue (No Parking signs will be posted). Ample street parking is available in Downtown Havre de Grace with many streets accommodating parking on both sides without impeding traffic - if you park your vehicle in a place that impedes traffic or blocks a residence you will be towed.
Drop-offs: If you are getting dropped off at the 5K/Half Marathon start, the designated drop off location is on Giles Street, just prior to South Stokes St. This is adjacent to the bus drop off location. Please pull out of the drive lane and stay out of the way of the buses.
10K participants: There is no parking or drop-off at the 10K start area. You must take a bus to the 10K start from Tydings Park. Bus loading begins at 6:30 AM at the corner of S Adams and Commerce Streets, and the last bus leaves Tydings Park at 7:30 AM sharp - you do not want to put yourself in a position to miss the bus. ARRIVE EARLY! Bag Check, restrooms, and water are all available at the 10K start.
Street Closures & Lane Restrictions: The temporary traffic control for this race is complex, so get there early. If you are coming from East/North side of the Susquehanna, don’t expect to cross the Hatem Bridge (US-40 WB) towards Havre de Grace after 6:45 AM as it will close at 6:55 AM and you will be detoured to I-95 South.
Follow the directions of all traffic control police officers, even if your GPS tells you otherwise. If you are headed into Havre de Grace, we recommend US-40 to Lewis Ln or Old Post Rd (depending on direction) to Revolution St as the best route
