Shirt Designer: Kevin Portillo
Inspiration: Designing my t-shirt was challenging but rewarding. After reviewing designs from past events, I chose to create something original that fit the charity 5K theme. I brainstormed ideas inspired by Greek mythology, focusing on Hermes, the messenger god known for his speed and winged sandals. I gathered references like wreaths, shoes, and wings to guide my work, then used them to create and refine my final design. I truly enjoyed the process and look forward to creating more designs in the future.

Welcome to the Best Buy Run and Walk FIN's main event, in support of Charity Classic and the Best Buy Foundation®! The Run/Walk will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Donaldson Park, just a short walk from the Best Buy Richfield campus. This event is open to all employees, vendors, friends and family (ages 13+).
There is also a virtual option to participate in the 5K run or 1 mile walk if you are unable to make the July 1 event.
Key Dates:
- 04/06/2026 - Registration open for everyone
- 06/05/2026 - Race shirts are no longer guaranteed after this date
- 06/06/2026 - $5 increase to registration
- Bib and Shirt pickups (Outside the B building in the main hallway)
- Thursday 6/25 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Monday 6/29 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Tuesday 6/30 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Race Day at Donaldson Park 8:15-8:45 a.m. (avoid the race day rush, pick up early)

T Shirts
All in-person Run/Walk registrants will receive a race T-shirt with their registrations if purchased by the guaranteed deadline (06/05/2026). After the guaranteed registration deadline, T-shirts will be handed out depending on availablility - please inquire about T-shirt availability at Bib Pickup.
These T-shirts are designed by a Teen Tech Center teen artist and the selected T-shirt design, as well as details about the artist, will be revealed at a later date.
Shirt and Bib Pickup: T-shirts and Bibs will be available for pick up on campus in the Hub (June 25, 29, 30) or at the race tent on the day of the race.
