Description

Join us this year for the only Thanksgiving Day 5k and Fun Run in Blount County. The Goggled Gobbler will start and finish at Coulter Grove Intermediate School. Funding from this race will assist in providing aquatics programs such as child-focused water safety, adult and child swim lessons, competitive swimming and practice time for local schools' swim teams. The 2024 Goggled Gobbler 5k title sponsor is The Shanks Companies: Integrity Through Unparalleled Experience. 

START/FINISH: Coulter Grove Intermediate School, 2025 Sevierville Rd, Maryville, TN 37804. Parking available to Coulter Grove Intermediate School.

Water will be provided at the finish line, no water stop on the course. 

RACE TIMES: Thursday, November 28, 2024 - 5k starts at 8:30am. The Fun Run starts at 8:00am.

PRE RACE PACKET PICKUP: Wednesday, November 27, 2024 4:00-5:30 pm at Coulter Grove Intermediate School, 2025 Sevierville Rd, Maryville, TN 37804.

RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP: Pick up at Coulter Grove Intermediate School starting at 7:30am

T-Shirts & Awards

T-SHIRTS: Custom-designed unisex t-shirts will be reserved for participants who register before November 15th. Runners will receive shirts at early packet pickup or on race day. Please note our shirt policy: Anyone registering after November 15th will receive a shirt only while supplies last. 

AWARDS: Awards will be given for Top 3 overall male, female & masters (age 40+) finishers. Age group awards will be given for the following male and female finishers: 14 & under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-100.
